Insurance:
We require that all clients arrange personal travel insurance to cover their medical, property, and other personal risks for the duration of their safaris. Proof of insurance is required 30 days prior to tour departure.
Tour Packages:
Tour prices are valid to December 31, 2011 and include:
- Accommodations as indicated in each itinerary
- Meals as indicated in each itinerary, sodas, and domestic bottled water
- Arrival and departures transfers and all other land transportation
- Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru Summits: 1. Expert and experienced Tanzanian guide (English speaking) 2. Skilled cook 3. Enough porters to carry your luggage, food and water
- Safaris: 1. Expert and experienced Tanzanian driver/guide (English speaking) 2. Skilled cook for camping safaris 3. Unlimited and exclusive use of a 4wheel drive safari vehicle & driver while on safari. Your vehicle will be in excellent condition and have a pop-open roof for 360 degree game viewing. It will also have a radio so your guide can communicate with other guides to find the best viewing locations.
- Entrance fees to national parks, game reserves, museums, etc. as specified in each itinerary and all other applicable local fees and taxes
- Not included in quoted tour prices:
Costs of passports or visas; immunizations; excess baggage charges; travel insurance; airfares and airport departure taxes; sightseeing, game drives, or meals not listed in the itinerary; personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages; laundry; communication charges; and gratuities.
Reservations and Payments:
Deposit amounts per person are specified for each itinerary and are due at the time you book. The remainder of the price of your trip is due 60 days prior to your departure date. Accepted methods of payments to our US booking office include money order, certified check and personal checks (allow 7 to 10 days for checks to clear bank processing).
Cancellations:
For all tour cancellations received more than 45 days prior to departure, 50% per person deposit will not be refunded. Cancellations received within 30 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour price will not be refunded.
Alterations of Tours:
Safari Arts Expeditions reserves the right to alter or modify the itinerary of any tour, if air schedule or surface transportation changes, security matters and/or events beyond our control make such alterations necessary.
Baggage:
Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour.
Departure Dates and Prices:
These tours are scheduled to operate through December 31, 2011. Safari Arts Expeditions reserves the right to alter prices quoted should inflation, costs of fuel, labor or material; or foreign exchange rates change.
Refunds:
There will not be any refund if you cancel a tour that is progress.
Risks:
Safari Arts Expeditions draws your attention to the fact that there are certain inherent dangers involved with adventure travel, and the client accepts them at his/her own risk. Consequently, Safari Arts Expeditions assumes no responsibility whatsoever for injury, personal illness, loss or damage to personal property in connection with any service resulting directly from: act of God; detention; annoyance; delays; expenses arising from quarantine; strikes; thefts; pilferage; force majeure; failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled; civil disturbances; terrorism; government restrictions or regulations; and discrepancies or changes in hotel services over which we have no control. Safari Arts Expeditions and/or its local operators reserve the right to cancel any itinerary or any part of it or to make such alterations in the itinerary when deemed advisable for the comfort and safety of passengers. On advancement of deposit to Safari Arts Expeditions, the depositor(s) agrees to be bound to the above recited terms and conditions.
