DAY 1: Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Safari Arts Expeditions team, who will promptly drive you to the New Arusha Hotel. Relax in your hotel room where you will find a flower bouqet and a bottle champagne for your enjoyment.
This attractive little town is situated beneath the towering peak of Mt Meru. Renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha offers a plethora of attractions and adventures. The town has numerous first-class restaurants, bars and markets to browse and is the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days before embarking on a safari.
DAY 2 & 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before travelling to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area.
The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area is home to more than 30,000 protected animals. Known for its spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing, it is a truly unique and dramatically romantic safari destination in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Black rhinos are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lions stalk the grasslands and flamingos crowd the soda lakes, and ideal romantic safari.

DAY 4 - 6: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive before travelling to the Serengeti National Park which is undoubtedly one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, film makers and photographers. Tanzania's oldest game reserve, it is renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated two million antelope migrate to Kenya's Masai Mara. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience. Adventures include game drives (including spot lit night drives). Take pleasure in three nights at various lodges throughout the park such as the Serengeti Serena Lodge.
DAY 7 - 10: Zanzibar Island
Travel to the Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. On landing, you will be met by a member of the Safari Arts Expeditions team, who will drive you through the romantic island of Zanzibar to your hotel.
Breathtaking sunsets await you on the white beaches of Zanzibar Island. The pristine white beaches of Zanzibar Island, surrounded by turquoise ocean water, combine to make this island a tropical paradise. The dazzling sands and brilliant sunshine invite visitors to spend idle hours on shore. Discover Stone Town while wandering the labyrinth of narrow streets and losing yourself in the buzz of the markets, and exploring the many mosques and grand Arab residences. Enjoy a boat ride to a small island for snorkeling and swimming. Delight your senses as you walk thru a wooded area on a guided spice tour, while learning about the island's cloves, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and lemongrass, and their various uses.
DAY 11: Departure
Travel to Zanzibar Airport, from there a light aircraft flight will take you to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your connecting flight home.
